A single sensor mast on a garden shed, logging temperature, humidity and wind every ten minutes. Last reading was 18.0 °C with 0.7 m/s from the west. The page is updated by hand when I get round to it, so treat anything here as a rough record rather than a forecast.

Log

First proper frost of the season, and the tipping bucket froze solid overnight.

Anemometer cups cleaned, bearing still turns freely.

Steady drizzle for most of the day, 8.4 mm total. The bucket agrees with the garden rain gauge to within half a millimetre, which is better than usual.

Lightning nearby took out the mains supply for a few hours; the logger ran on its battery and lost nothing.

Replaced the battery in the outdoor transmitter; it had been dropping packets for about a week before I noticed the gaps.
